Nudge to Influence Change - Behavioural Economics 101
Show Notes

In this episode, Dave & Trent revisit an old favourite from our consulting days with Gallup - Behavioural Economics.
A quick exploration into one application of influencing behavioural change in populations, citizens, and customers - the NUDGE.

From organ donorship, to fun with pedestrians on musical stairs, to nudging doctors to write less prescriptions! We discuss these case studies and more, further research into the Nudge, and touch on how it could have been better used in 2020.

Today's tasting notes:
Trent's Talisker 10yr Old Whisky - from The Master of Malt.
Nose: A fresh and fragrant nose. Through thick, pungent smoke comes sweet pear and apple peels, with pinches of maritime salt from kippers, seaweed.

Palate: It's a bonfire of peat crackling with black pepper, with a touch of brine and dry barley. A welcome delivery of orchard fruit provides a delicate and beautiful balance.

Finish: In a long finish, bonfire embers toast malt and crystallise a sugary underlay.

Dave's Brookies Slow Gin from Cape Byron Distillery
